NEWS & INFORMATION

The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) and its six schools use several communications vehicles to showcase their people and programs to students, alumni, faculty and staff,  as well as to the Ohio University community and the public. Below are links to these communications tools and summaries of each.


1. ONLINE CALENDAR

Primary audience: The approximately 200 CHHS staff and faculty members

Primary audience: The more than 3,000 students who have declared a major within CHHS

Student, faculty and staff achievements in the College of Health and Human Services; unique class projects; mini-profiles of faculty and staff members; announcements of upcoming events and roundups of previous ones

Twice during each fall, winter and spring quarter

CHHS faculty and staff; CHHS alumni board; OU communications officers; OU administrators


Student Skylights

Content:
Important student announcements from CHHS Student Services; student, faculty and staff achievements; unique class projects; mini-profiles of faculty and staff members; announcements of upcoming events and roundups of previous ones

OUSAFM Newsletter

Achievements of faculty, staff, students and alumni in the Sports Administration and Facility Management program (SAFM) in the School of Recreation and Sport Sciences; events involving the program

Manager: SAFM graduate students

Frequency: Spring, fall

Primary audience: SAFM alumni, students, faculty


Welcome Newsletter

Content:
Information on academic advising, registration, student organizations and CHHS programs

Frequency: Each fall quarter

Primary audience: Newly declared CHHS majors


Human & Consumer Sciences Newsletter

Content: Information on the School of Human and Consumer Sciences' programs, faculty and alumni.

Kids on Campus

Content: Summary of accomplishments of the organization's afterschool and summer programs
