About the facility
This laboratory is designed for research in biomechanics and exercise sciences as well as teaching. This facility offers faculty and students the latest equipment and technology for advance study, research, and practical application.

The purpose of the lab is to understand biomechanics and the physiological response to exercise or injury. Biomechanics is the study of the forces acting on a body or segment that leads to understanding of human movement, improve technique, prevention and treatment of injury.

The laboratory serves as the main research facility for six Faculty Members, Athletic Training and Physiology of Exercise Master and Doctoral Students.

  • EMG Noraxon Telemyo 8 Channel Systen with electrogoniometery
  • Two Kistler Force Platforms
  • Photorn Fastcam PCI R2 High Speed Camer (30 - 500 MHz)
  • 2 High Speed Camers (60 MHz)
  • Peak Performance Techology Event Synchronization Unit
  • Peak Motus Software Version 8.0
