Ohio University School of Recreation and Sport Sciences

Sport Management students are strongly encouraged to complete an internship during their course of study in order to improve their industry opportunities upon graduation. Students may receive 16 credit hours for an internship with an approved sport-related organization, but are not required by Ohio University to receive academic credit for an internship. Students may fulfill one category of graduation requirements either through completion of an internship or 16 credit hours of approved courses.

To increase chances of obtaining an internship, it is highly recommended that students meet with the internship coordinator or faculty advisor.
